Why The Wee Bus?

well, because it's not a big bus.

That means that your wee group (actually up to twenty-one of you, so not necessarily that wee a group) can have a wee bit of fun for a wee price.

It also gives away a wee bit about me, Scott the wee driver. Proving the old saying that “you can take the boy out of Scotland, but you can’t take Scotland out of the boy”. Having spent the best part of the last thirty years in Fremantle and the surrounding areas I’m still unmistakably Scottish. Although Scottish Aussie is probably more accurate.

In 2007 bus driving found me rather than me finding it. I was lucky enough to get work driving the senior citizens bus for the Town of East Fremantle, a job I thought I might do for a year or so, but it ended up being closer to seven. As life tends to do, the years flew past. I could now add experienced bus driver to my resume. Since then, I’ve driven big buses for Transperth helping to reduce Perth’s carbon footprint. And, taken people into the desert in big buses to search for salt at Rio Tinto’s salt mine in Lake MacLeod just north of Carnarvon.
